In our testing, we carefully measured SAC values for a 12mm gypsum board, a widely used building material. Our findings were as follows :Unpainted Gypsum Board: SAC range α = 0.04 - 0.07 Painted Gypsum Board (with Silver Screen Paint) : SAC range α = 0.04 - 0.07

Since there is no deviation in SAC values between the unpainted and painted boards, this confirms that our Silver Screen Paints do not alter the acoustic properties of the surface. The gain value of the Silver Screen Paint is the highest in our range by far, designed specifically for 3D projection, because of its unique properties achieved by the silver technology. This means a very high level of light reflectivity without interfering with the polarity of the reflected light delivering an exceptional 3D experience.

Well, in 3D projection technology, two slightly different images are projected onto the screen simultaneously. These images pass through specialized optical filters, which polarize the light differently for each projection. When viewed through 3D glasses, each lens is designed to block one of the images while allowing the other to pass through, ensuring that the left eye sees one image and the right eye sees the other. This separation of images creates the immersive 3D depth effect. For this process to work correctly, it is extremely important that the projection surface does not alter the light’s polarity. Silver Screen Paint is designed for application on a variety of surfaces, including plaster, wallboards, wood, metal, and composites. It can also be applied to tensioned fabrics for specialized projection setups. Please note that this product is intended for indoor use only.

Yes, for optimal performance, we recommend applying 3D Silver Screen Paint to a previously primed or painted surface. Bare or untreated surfaces should be ideally primed with two coats of White Primer. to ensure smooth application and maximum projection quality.

Wear a respirator face mask as Silver Screen Paint is a spray applied paint. Use the gloves supplied in the kit while applying the paint. Additionally, you must wear the gloves that are supplied with the kit, and it's also advisable to wear safety glasses. Lastly, make sure that the room should be well ventilated, as is required for any painting process.

The recommended lighting setup for Smart Silver Screen Paint is low or medium ambient lighting.

Smart Silver Screen Paints are suitable for use with 3D projectors ( HD, 4K, and 8K Projector) above 3000 lumens.

During the spraying process ensure the area is clear of people as the spraying process like all paint that is spray applied will create a spray mist which with disappear after a few minutes with ventilation after the spraying is completed and the area ventilated it is completely safe. Yes, Silver Screen Paint is completely safe to use. This Paint is low VOC, solvent free, PFOA & PFOS free and isocyanates free. It meets the highest environmental standards and has been independently certified for Fire performance and VOC Use the gloves supplied in the kit while applying Smart Silver Screen Paint. As with any paint product we recommend wearing gloves during application.

Typically the process of application is done over two days. Day one is preparation and priming. Day two is spray application of the Silver Screen Paint, however application in one day is possible provided the first coat is touch dry before the application of the second coat.

Minimum 12 Degrees to Maximum 28 Degrees with humidity below 80% which would be considered normal parameters for paint application via spray.

Silver Screen Paint Installation

Silver Screen Paint can only be applied by spray. It can never be applied by roller or brush. Also, airless spray systems are not suitable and must not be used.

Use either a HVLP sprayer with a recommended tip size of 1.8mm or a Gravity-Fed Pot Gun with a tip size of 1.4mm to 1.6mm operating at air pressure between 40 and 60 PSI. To ensure optimal spray performance, apply Silver Screen Paint in a room with a temperature between 12°C and 28°C and humidity below 80%.

Standard airless sprayers are not suitable for application of Silver Screen Paint.

Follow the steps below for applying the paint and getting the best results :

Prepare the Wall - Clean, smooth, and prime with two coats of white primer. Fill and sand any defects.
Mask the Area - Use masking tape to outline your projection surface.
Get the Paint Ready - Keep at room temperature. Stir well. Do not add water.
First Coat - Spray a light coat evenly with 50% overlap. Maintain a 30 cm distance. Let dry for 4 hours.
Second Coat - Apply a light but solid finish coat.
Curing - Wait 24 hours before using.
