Matt Whiteboard Paint Reviews

The paint was extremely easy to apply – and the customer service was accessible and helpful! As a teacher you try to present as many different way as possible to to teach a concept and having the extra large dry erase wall helped us to teach concepts, facilitate games and student bonding and write instructions. We have no problem erasing everything with a multi purpose sponge eraser! It has been a HUGE learning tool for our classroom and we are forever grateful.

At any one time I work on 8-10 initiatives and your dry erase paint has enabled me to better visualize what I need to do. It’s useful for brainstorming and process evaluation, so much so that we’ve recently purchased it for our marketing department. It’s a great fit for our company.

FAQ's

Matt dry erase board paint is a special paint that, when applied to an even surface such as a wall, turns it into a matte-finished whiteboard that looks fantastic while providing the functionality of a whiteboard. This product consists of two components that need to be mixed by stirring before application. It is also effective for use with short-throw projectors.

For an ideal whiteboard finish, please follow these steps: Preparation - use decorator filler to patch any imperfections and then sand the surface until smooth, ensuring all sanding dust is removed. We suggest applying two coats of Smart White Primer and allowing it to dry overnight before applying the Matt Whiteboard Paint. It is important to use separate rollers for the primer and the Matt Whiteboard Paint.

We recommend using a smooth, lint-free roller or a foam roller. Only paint the designated coverage area as indicated on the tin. Overextending the paint will impact the performance of the whiteboard. For the best results, we advise rolling over the area several times to ensure thorough coverage and to check visually for any missed spots after each section.

Our award-winning Matt Whiteboard Paint is backed by a ten-year guarantee.

Each kit includes a roller designed for use with Matt Whiteboard Paint. For best results, we recommend using a mohair roller or a lint-free, short-pile roller sleeve. If using a mohair roller, ensure all loose fibres are removed before application.
