The whiteboard wall paint was extremely easy to apply

The whiteboard wall paint was extremely easy to apply – and the customer service was accessible and helpful so I was delighted to give a review for this whiteboard paint and company! As a teacher you try to present as many different ways as possible to teach a concept and having the extra large dry erase wall helped us to teach concepts, facilitate games and student bonding and write instructions. We have no problem erasing everything with a multi purpose sponge eraser! It has been a HUGE learning tool for our classroom and we are forever grateful.

Turning Complex Workflows into Clear Action

At any one time I work on 8-10 initiatives and your dry erase marker paint has enabled me to better visualize what I need to do. It’s useful for brainstorming and process evaluation, so much so that we’ve recently purchased it for our marketing department. It’s a great fit for our company and a 5 start review for whiteboard paint.

Application & Usage

What type of roller should be used for applying Matt Dry Erase Wall Paint?

Is it possible to paint over an existing whiteboard with Matt Whiteboard Paint?

Yes, Matt Whiteboard Paint serves as an excellent repair solution for most surfaces. It can be applied directly to existing whiteboards once a White Primer is used (a primer is essential before applying the paint). Ensure all marker residue is removed. What type of heater can be used to accelerate the drying process of the primer? Is an infrared lamp suitable?

A standard fan heater may be used to expedite the drying process of the primer. An infrared lamp can also be used; however, it should not be placed too close to the surface to prevent any potential damage or uneven drying.

Surface Prep & Priming

Why is it necessary to apply a primer before using Matt Whiteboard Paint?

Applying a primer before using Matt Whiteboard Paint is essential for achieving a smooth and even surface. Primers serve to seal the surface, preventing excessive absorption of the paint and ensuring that the properties of Matt Whiteboard Paint remain on the wall. Also, the primer provides a white base, which enhances the final finish. Overall, the use of a primer or sealer results in a smoother application with optimal write-on-wipe-off functionality.

Cleaning & Maintenance

How can Matt Whiteboard Paint be removed from the skin?

Matt Whiteboard Paint can be removed from the skin using one of two methods. The first method involves mixing salt with warm water and rinsing the affected area thoroughly. After allowing it to sit for approximately two minutes, wipe the surface clean. If this method proves ineffective, our Permanent Ink Remover is available through our online store. It is made to eliminate permanent marker stains, stubborn marks, and ghosting from both traditional whiteboards and Matt Whiteboard Painted surfaces.

Functionality & Performance

Will the walls turn yellow when exposed to sunlight?

No, Matt Whiteboard Paint is designed to be highly resistant to UV rays, ensuring it will not yellow.

Why are there ‘shadows’ or large marks on my whiteboard surface, and how can I remove them?

The presence of shadows or extensive marks is due to improper application or an attempt to extend the paint beyond the recommended coverage area. It is essential to adhere strictly to the Matt Whiteboard Paint application guidelines.

For tough marks, we recommend using our Permanent Ink Remover, which is a highly effective cleaning solution designed for tough stains. However, this product is not intended for daily cleaning.
