With 60% magnetite content, compared to 55% in Magnetic Paint, this is our strongest magnetic paint product. (For heavier weights, choose Magnetic Plaster that contains 75% magnetite and it’s the best magnetic product available)
Magnetic Products are available in Magnetic Paint (55% magnetite), Super Magnetic Paint (60% magnetite) and Magnetic Plaster (75% magnetite). Due to the presence of magnetic particles, magnetic paints are predominantly black. You can achieve your preferred colour by applying regular paint over the magnetic layer. We suggest using a white water-based primer (such as White Primer) before applying your desired hue. Alternatively, you can install wallpaper or a digital print in your chosen pattern or design over Super Magnetic Paint. We advise selecting a thinner product for the top layer, as a thicker or denser topcoat may impact magnetic performance.
Yes, all the coats required are supplied within the tin. For Super Magnetic Paint you will require 4 coats of paint.
Yes, but due to the black color of magnetic paint, you may need to apply more than one coat of the color of your choice. We recommend using a primer for a smooth white base for lighter shades of topcoat paint.
Super Magnetic Paint can be applied by roller or spray onto any smooth surface. Use a short pile (foam) roller to ensure a smooth finish. Once dry, the surface can be painted over to conceal the black color (due to the magnetic properties in the paint).
You can layer products to add more functionality to your surface.
Magnetic surfaces are typically used for planning, scheduling, posting, brainstorming, magnetic notice boards, magnetic walls plus lots more. For best results, we recommend using neodymium magnets or strong rare earth magnets with your super magnetic surface.
Super Magnetic Paint can be applied to nearly any smooth surface. For optimal results, sand and fill any required areas beforehand.
Primers help give a surface a smooth finish. Another reason a primer is used is to conceal the black colour (due to the magnetic particles) of our magnetic paint.
No, strong magnetic paint does not disrupt any signals; WIFI functions normally when in proximity to magnetic plaster and paints.

 How to Install the Best Magnetic Paint For Walls Easily

Smarter Surfaces super magnetic paint for walls is incredibly easy to apply, making professional installation unnecessary. With just a few simple steps, anyone can have it ready to use in no time.

Step 1: Measure The Area - Carefully measure the area you want to paint and ensure you have enough paint. 

Step 2: Prepare The Surface - Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Check and fill any holes or cracks in the surface with a normal decorator’s filler. 

Step 3: Apply Primer - Apply one coat of White Primer to prepare the surface. 

Step 4: Apply Magnetic Paint - Use roller or brush to apply the paint. (When using roller, use a short pile sleeve to ensure a smooth finish) 

Apply first coat by applying a smooth even coat. Allow to dry.
Note: We recommend 4 coats of paint.

Step 5: Sand The Surface - Lightly sand between coats. Ensure finished surface is smooth.

Step 6: Allow To Dry - Allow the surface to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before overcoating or applying a paint colour, digital print or wallpaper of your choice.
